(Wiesbaden, June 18, 2018) ABO Wind is participating in the Intersolar Europe trade fair in Munich, Germany, and is counting on further international expansion. From June 20th to 22nd, the company welcomes visitors at booth 476 in hall B3. As an experienced project developer, ABO Wind is looking for cooperation opportunities worldwide to develop and conclude solar projects.

Just in time for the trade fair, ABO Wind has installed two new photovoltaic plants with a capacity of around one megawatt in Germany. At the same time, the company is working on a number of promising projects abroad: "We are currently developing our first Hungarian solar project," says Alden Lee, head of the solar department. Construction of the 6-megawatt plant in eastern Hungary is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2018. Commissioning is planned for early 2019. The project has been granted the now expired Hungarian KÁT tariff. ABO Wind acquired the project in April 2018 and is now in the final stages of development.

In addition, ABO Wind is currently working on solar projects with more than 1,100 MWp in South Africa (525 MW), Greece (310 MW), Argentina (100 MW) and Spain (220 MW), which have been secured over the past twelve months.

In countries where conditions are suitable and where ABO Wind is already established as a wind energy developer, the company is also strengthening its solar business. The French subsidiary has set up its own solar team, which will also be present at the Intersolar fair.

"We are pleased to present our growing solar business and make valuable contacts at the Intersolar trade fair," says Lee. "Our focus is on the sunny countries of Europe, Sub-Sahara, North Africa and Latin America."

ABO Wind develops solar projects either from site acquisition to turnkey construction and commissioning, or purchases them at any planning stage.
